The Art of Drowning eBook ☆ The Art eBook ð drowning pdf, The Art mobile, The Art of Drowning KindleI love Fyfield at her best but this book really disappointed me altho' one of the characters seemed almost as likeable as Diana in Gold Digger The writing felt off many clichés a couple of minor howlers after 23 we already know who did the killings and the story turns into a damsel in distress thriller complete with immersion in porcine body wastes The first murder not a spoiler it's narrated in the prologue is one of those fascinating cases in which the victim is lured into an apparently accidental death with no evident crime being committed a device I fantasise about but the other killings are obvious and the occupation and identity of the villain easily discerned by a detective who one wouldn't expect could catch the 'flu in a nursing home

The Art of Drowning eBook ☆ The Art eBook ð drowning pdf, The Art mobile, The Art of Drowning KindleI first read a Fyfield novel over 20 years ago At that time I devoured everything she had written I simply could not get enough I ration myself now and this had been sitting on my shelves for some months; it did not disappointShe really is one of those ‘can’t put down’ writers and I have to make myself stop reading to get on with all the other things that life dictates that we dowork chores etc So to the bookthe characters are fabulously well drawn the plot weaves and undulates like the waves at the sea and water on the lake that features within the novel Circumstances occur and chapters later your mind races piecing things together The character flaws and relationships are utterly human in all of its guises and at times extremes It certainly left me on the edge of my seat knowing and yet never feeling totally sure that people would ‘get by’ I will make myself wait again for another ‘Fyfield fix’ but it is a certainty that there will be

The Art of Drowning eBook ☆ The Art eBook ð drowning pdf, The Art mobile, The Art of Drowning Kindle‘The Art of Drowning’ weaves a story about serious shy accountant Rachel whose life is changed when she meets beautiful unpredictable Ivy Their bond is further strengthened when Ivy’s parents treat Rachel like their own daughter Therefore she looks forward to spending time at their countryside house and farm but she doesn’t realize that her idyllic days are numberedI found it incredibly difficult to be engrossed in this book mainly because it was terribly slow paced Barely anything exciting happened until the last one third of the story Besides that the writing style didn’t appeal to me as it was uite messy featuring constant shifts in perspective all in third person narrative There wasn’t a nice smooth flow and combined with the lack o
